Victoria Smith-Hardesty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and Certified Dementia Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Rutgers University and her Master of Social Work from Monmouth University.

She previously served as director of a therapeutic program for individuals with acquired neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and Parkinson’s disease. In that role, she gained extensive experience helping clients maximize their quality of life. She also has specialized expertise working with adolescents and adults with ADHD and Autism, supporting them in building greater independence and enhancing their effectiveness in work, school, and relationships.

With extensive experience in clinical practice, working with individuals, groups and families, Victoria is currently serving in Two Rivers Behavioral Health private practice. She believes in each individual as a whole person with their own unique experiences and story. She is committed to honoring your individuality and your decisions to take steps towards your own healing.

Victoria provides a comfortable, safe and respectful environment where you can build a partnership and develop a plan to help you achieve your goals. She utilizes a collaborative approach to therapy, including client-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

Victoria also provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating a wide range of challenges with life transitions, including:

  • Balancing self-care, family, and career

  • New motherhood

  • Pregnancy

  • Postpartum depression or anxiety

  • Pregnancy or infant loss

  • Grief and bereavement

  • Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)
